Video of man’s extreme reaction to his firefighters rescuing his cat amidst house fire after thinking he lost everything: 'They rescued the most important of them all'

Every day, we brag about how our cats are the center of our hooman world. They really are. We think about them while we're at work, spend as much as pawssible with them when we're home, and oftentimes, use them as an excuse to not go out so we can spend even more time with them. But you don't realize how much you love and care for them until something really tragic happens. We don't know what we would do if anything happened to one of them. We hope we never have to.

But, things happen that are out of our control. And those things remind you how impawtant the things you love really are. When the man in this video escaped a terrible house fire that had ravaged his house, he thought he lost everything. But miraculously, the firefighters were able to save his cat. His heartwarming reaction is one that each pawrent can connect with, as we would collapse with joy just like he did.     HeadOfFloof I couldn't imagine standing outside of my burning house, knowing my cats were trapped in there suffocating and possibly being roasted to death. I would weep in a ball with them too if they were rescued like that.

  • We don't know what we would do. We probably would have run back into the house to get them. The firefighters would have to physically hold us back to stop us from trying to rescue them. Just thinking about it makes us tear up a little.
